Journeyman Electrician I–IV / Electrical Foreman
This is a Contract-to-Hire, W-2 Electrical position with Rinvio in Ashburn, VA, paying $35–$55 / hr.
Rinvio is hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Foremen for long-term, on-site work in Ashburn, Virginia. The role supports commercial electrical and data center environments, with assignments involving installation or maintenance work depending on the department. Foreman-level opportunities are available for electricians with demonstrated field leadership experience. What You’ll Do • Determine the appropriate method and sequence for installing electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLC-connected equipment, switches, and transformers. • Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications. • Requisition materials, tools, and equipment and maintain accurate inventory records. • Install, maintain, and repair control and distribution equipment, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels. • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. • Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend practical solutions. • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment required for installation and maintenance work. • Inspect and test electrical-system components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear. • Communicate job status, issues, and recommendations clearly to management. • Complete timely documentation of work performed. • Operate vehicles and equipment safely when assigned. • Follow safety protocols and report hazards and risks. The standard shift is 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., and no travel is required. Benefits are available. Compensation is $35–$55 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
4+ years of electrical experience Commercial electrical or data center experience preferred Installation or maintenance experience; department-specific assignments may vary Ability to read plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and control or distribution equipment Journeyman or Master Electrician license in VA, DC, or MD preferred, but not required Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to the start date
Required Skills
4+ years of electrical experience Commercial electrical or data center experience preferred Installation and/or maintenance experience Ability to read plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications Conduit and wire work Installation, repair, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and control/distribution equipment Proficiency with hand and power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment Clear work-status documentation and communication Safe work practices
Certifications / Licenses
Journeyman or Master Electrician license in VA, DC, or MD preferred, but not required.
