Low Voltage Technician

This is a Full-Time, W-2 Low Voltage position with Rinvio in Abilene, TX, paying $28 / hr.

Full-time, W-2 employment with Rinvio, working on site with our client. Rinvio is hiring low voltage technicians for work in Abilene, Texas. Pay is $28 per hour. Bring your experience installing and checking low voltage cabling, along with a careful approach to organized, clearly labeled work. This posting is for technician work; electrical helper opportunities are covered by our separate Abilene apprentice electrician listing. Typical work may include: - Pulling, routing and securing low voltage cable along approved pathways. - Preparing and terminating copper cabling, installing connectors and organizing cables at racks or panels. - Labeling cables and connections so the next technician can identify each run. - Reading installation drawings and following the supervisor's instructions for the assigned system. - Testing connections with appropriate equipment, documenting results and reporting faults. - Keeping tools, materials and work areas orderly while following site safety procedures. Hands-on low voltage installation experience is preferred. Experience with structured cabling, data connections or related communications systems is useful.
