The Charlotte MarketCharlotte's data center boom outpaces the local bench
Charlotte anchors one of the fastest data center build-outs in the country, and the demand runs well past the city line. Microsoft, H5, and PowerHouse are all putting hyperscale capacity into the Carolinas, and every campus needs conduit, feeders, terminations, and commissioning on a fixed schedule. The local hiring cycle rarely keeps up. That is the gap we fill.
Hyperscale data centers
Microsoft has a hyperscale campus planned in Person County, H5 runs facilities in the Charlotte metro, and PowerHouse along with the Lyle Creek build in Conover keep the pipeline full. Every one of them needs conduit, feeders, terminations, and commissioning on schedule.
A build boom that crosses the state
The work does not stop at Charlotte. Raleigh-Durham's Triangle, the Foothills, and the Highway 16 corridor out to Conover are all drawing on the same short list of qualified electricians at the same time.
Premium pay thins the bench
Data center owners lead with high wages, per-diem, and overtime, and that pulls journeymen off commercial and institutional jobs. Contractors tell us the hard part is no longer winning the work, it is keeping a crew on it.
A regional pool, staffed for retention
We keep a bench across North and South Carolina so a hyperscale start does not empty your job. Local hands where we have them, vetted traveling crews where we do not, and all of them on our payroll.
